Another clear fine day. It seems funny to think that it hasn't stopped raining since we left home yet we have had nearly all our days fine and warm. Liam went of to Kids Kapers again this morning. Mum and Dad decided to have a morning to themselves. We started off with a game of tennis which was very nice. |

The resort has 4 tennis courts and they are in good condition. Rosie hasn't played tennis much but we both improved as the game progressed and had an enjoyable game. After tennis we went and played lawn bowls. The rink was in quite good condition and it was really relaxing and enjoyable to play 10 ends. |
As can be seen, the quality of the game was quite high and we managed to take the jack a few times. At kindy, Liam played with his new friends and also made a kite. This was good, since he made a kite earlier in the week and someone took it before he could show Mummy and Daddy. |

Today Liam was proud to show us his kite and to demonstrate how well it flew. After lunch and a read of the paper we went off to the spa for our usual afternoons entertainment. It was a bit cool today to go to the beach pool but that didn't matter in the end. |

There were several kids in the spa and Liam played happily for an hour with his ball and the other kids. All the time you are doing activities, the resort has camels roaming around for people to ride. They add a different dimension to your holiday seeing these ships of the desert passing by all the time. It is interesting watching life go by at the resort. We have seen about 8 weddings since we have been here, there is a chapel across the lawned area from us and on each Saturday there have been three weddings. Obviously the receptions are held in the different reception areas around the resort. All the guest retire to the pool bar between ceremony and reception and it is funny to see all these people dressed up while everyone else is in bathers. The resort is full tonight but it doesn't seem to be that busy, everyone seems to have lots of space. We will put Liam into kindy tomorrow morning while we pack up and then off to the airport and fly down to Sydney. It will be sad to leave but I am looking forward to a change and we are getting excited about the snow reports each morning. |
