Today we went to Dream World which has a Nickelodean (kids TV) theme. Liam loves all their shows like Rugrats and Blue Clues. Unfortunately a few of Dream Worlds biggest rides, some named after Rugrats characters, have height restrictions which stop Liam from going on them. This didn't stop Liam from having a lot of fun though. He started on the plane ride and then went on to the fast spinning Angry Beaver ride. His face just lit up as he zoomed around and around. Bruce wouldn't even go on it, so it was left up to Rosie. |

After the Angry Beaver, which Liam returned to later in the day, we went to the bumper cars, which again Liam returned to later. Both of these he obviously enjoyed. |
We raced off to the Blue Clues floor show which was great for kids Liam's age. All the kids got involved with helping Blue and Steve find the clues and solve the problems. As you can see in the photo, the kids helped point out where the clues were and were really involved. |

A quiet ride on the Paddle steamer was next, but Liam found this boring. Liam loved the Dragon boat ride at Sea World so he looked forward to the similar ride at Dream World. The Hollow Log ride was almost the same and he loved the lead up to the big drop and he loved the big drop into the pool at the bottom. Unfortunately this caused a big splash that wet us both and Liam didn't think that this was so great. He didn't want to go back to this one which was pleasing. Since we were already wet we all went on the Wild Raft Ride which was really very good. The raft spun around in the rapids and splashed and bounced everywhere. It also went through a cave which had a couple of dinosaurs which Liam liked. |

A quiet sit in the IMAX which again thrilled Liam before a return to Nick for Kids to meet Chucky and see the Slime Show Live, not a winner since Liam wasn't picked to participate. He did like his encounter with Chucky from Rugrats and then onto a repeat of a few rides. Strangely he has stopped from going on a ride at ground level only to be told he could go on this spinning ferris wheel ride that started out horizontal to the ground before becoming vertical. Rosie found it most disturbing but again Liam loved it. |

We ended with a couple of more sedate rides on the Carousal and then onto the helicopter before we went home again. |
All up we found Dream World a bit disappointing with not a lot going on. Liam still had a great day so all was not lost. |

Liam favorites today were the helicopter and the Raft ride. |
He amazes his dad who can't stand most of the spinning rides yet Liam obviously gets a real buzz out of them. |
