“It was great. The veranda that we spend a lot of time on was bigger then it looked like on the picture. The bird life was fantastic. There was a bird book in the place which was good, we used it a lot to find out what the different birds where. The bed was very comfortable. Such a nice surprise to find this little cottage amongst the trees. Thankyou for having everything so nice and welcoming, fire laid, clean towels, soaps etc. Great walks. What more could we have asked for. (Margaret , Mandurah, W.A.)

We have just had another wonderful relaxing stay over the Australia Day long weekend. We love staying here. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. Perfect stay if you want to bring your fur baby. Can’t wait until September for our next break. Kathleen, Pete & Jessie (the Border Collie)

What a wonderful weekend we had. The cottage was just ideal. So clean, friendly owners, just perfect!

Margaret House Cottage is the perfect getaway place.
The peace and quiet,birds everywhere and a great location.
Close to all amenities,the beach,golf club and of course the wineries!
Loads of space for dogs and well secured for any size,their exercise is well taken care of.
Rosie and Bruce are the perfect hosts and in the cottage is all you need for the best of breaks.
A definite place to return to regularly.

This is the perfect weekend getaway, especially if you’re ‘over worried, dog safety and dog secure’ couple like ourselves. Idyllic, peaceful, very clean and comfortable, with wonderful fauna and all within a five minute drive to very dog friendly Margaret River town, where the pooches are welcome at cafe’s and even the pub.
No worries, no stress

We loved our week at Margaret House such a beautiful place to stay, the The Cottage is fantastic it has everything that you need loved the King size bed.Sitting on the veranda with all the beautiful birds around was so relaxing ,fantastic big secured yard for our Border Collie Maisey. and a doggy door into the cottage .She loved just watching the chickens,pea hens wandering around and chasing the kangaroos in the bottom paddock.So close to town and the beautiful beach wineries,cafes we took Maisey everywhere with us ,Rosie and Bruce are the owners of the place such lovely couple.Cannot wait to get back there again.

We recently stayed in the Studio flat for the second time. Comfortable bed & everything we needed for our 4 day stay. A very peaceful location with beautiful birds flying around in the garden. Close to town. Rosie & Bruce were great hosts.
