Margaret House Cottage is situated on a picturesque 7 acre (2.5 hectares) treed pasture property in Margaret River, Western Australia. Perfectly situated 2.5 km from the Margaret River town centre, you get all the pleasures of living on a small farm style property yet the convenience of being close to all the amenities and attractions.

Cape Mentelle Vineyards are only 300 metres away, and provide a good starting point for your comprehensive wine tasting adventure. For a more active time, the magnificent 18 hole grass green golf course is only 4 km away and the surfing and swimming beaches are 6 km away.

Take a short stroll along the walk path and see kangaroos in their natural environment. Bike trails and walking trails pass along the boundaries of the homestead and will take you directly to the beach or into town.

In the evening you can sit on the verandah surrounded by fragrant native gardens that attract an abundance of bird life. Kangaroos are now becoming a permanent feature of the paddock, so you will most likely be able to watch the young mothers and their joeys being courted by the young bucks with their play fighting. You will always be entertained by the Guinea Fowl and chickens roaming freely.
